You are invited to the Ottawa Area
Intermediate School District for the Connecting and Collaborating
Conference: Online Tools for the Classroom. This day-long conference
will focus on how online collaborative and communication tools, often
called Web 2.0 tools, are being used to engage students and improve
learning. Attendees may select from more than a dozen different 90
minute long breakout sessions; with two session offered before lunch
and two after lunch. Attendees may earn .6 SB-CEUs. Registration
will be capped at 150.
Wesley Fryer, Director of Education Advocacy for AT&T in Oklahoma will
provide the luncheon keynote. His presentation: “Welcome to the Global
Education Conversation!” will share the amazing new possibilities for
professional development and learning available using online

Each of the four breakout session rooms will have 15 – 20 computers
for shared use; however attendees are encouraged to bring their own
laptop computer if possible. Wireless Internet access will available.
